WebThe simple answer is yes. You can save your self some grinding/hunting/RNG by going to the marketboard and purchasing the drops some people come across by luck. I find a lot of value in that. As far as inflation is concerned over the 5 years I've played this game the marketboard prices haven't gone up too too much. WebI really do think that the social elements of FF14 greatly elevate the game. I might remember that part even more than the story, when all is said and done. My hypothesis as to why people are so friendly in FF14 is that the MSQ takes so much reading and patience that the game naturally pushes away people with undesirable qualities.
