As far as I can tell, the sniper systems use a very similar software as the terminator in regards to the self tuning (or map smoothing). The 2300 throttle body that I have in my beetle is geared for smaller displacement engines and supports up to 350hp NA (around 200-220 with boost).
WebWhat you need to do: Weld the return fitting into the gas tank. Install the supply fitting and run the fuel system (3/8" fuel line, over 60psi fuel system needed) Weld the oxygen sensor bung into the exhaust. Run the new throttle cable. The cable fits to the VW chassis like stock and gets routed into the engine bay through a sheath.
WebJan 12, 2024 · While I think the FiTech actually looks better, and the linkage IMO is better has the larger hole to attach the throttle cable to (easier pedal effort). The biggest strike against FiTech is their customer support. Absolutely horrible to deal with.
